Remote DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote professionals, is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer. The role unifies security with the development lifecycle by embedding protection into automated workflows, acting as the technical authority for secure infrastructure and deployment while balancing release speed with strong defensive layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated security gates in CI/CD pipelines to find vulnerabilities during the build.
• Develop and enforce security standards using Policy as Code and advanced secrets management.
• Integrate container and infrastructure scanning tools to keep production secure and compliant.
• Work with development and operations teams to promote secure-by-design principles and fix security flaws.
• Monitor the security posture of delivery pipelines to manage risks and improve resilience.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps or Cybersecurity Engineering.
• Proven ability to integrate security tooling such as Snyk, Trivy or Aqua into CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of container security and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Advanced English.
