Remote Backend Engineer (.NET)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consulting firm with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote engineers, is hiring a Backend Engineer (.NET). You will design and develop high-performance APIs and services using the Microsoft technology stack, owning the server-side logic and keeping database systems and front-end applications tightly integrated.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend services with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop and maintain complex database schemas and optimise queries in MSSQL/SQL Server environments.
• Use Entity Framework to manage data access layers and object-relational mapping.
• Architect and deploy secure cloud-native solutions on Azure for enterprise applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and shape the software architecture.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in backend engineering focused on the Microsoft stack.
• Strong expertise in MSSQL or SQL Server, including database design and optimisation.
• Experience with Entity Framework and RESTful service architecture.
• Hands-on experience deploying on Azure and working with cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced English proficiency.
