Remote HR Analyst (People Department)

About the role

World Business Lenders (WBL) is a U.S.-based company providing short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses, with a 100% remote workforce. It is hiring a People Department (HR) Analyst for a fully remote contract/consultant position. Working hours are 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, and the role requires excellent oral and written English.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding, making sure documentation and system access are in place.
• Maintain and update the company's organisational structure.
• Assist in managing day-to-day employee relations.
• Support the planning and tracking of company training initiatives, ensuring timely completion and accurate records.
• Help draft and distribute internal communications.
• Provide payroll support.
• Enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with weekly HR reporting.

Required profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in HR, administrative support or onboarding specialist roles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple onboarding processes at once.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace.
