Remote Real Estate Attorney

About the role

We are a growing private real estate investment firm seeking a Remote Real Estate Attorney to support acquisitions, dispositions, financing and lease activities across the Western United States. The role is fully remote and requires strong commercial real‑estate expertise and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, easements and related contracts.
• Provide legal guidance throughout acquisition, disposition, financing, refinancing and due‑diligence processes.
• Analyze title reports, surveys, zoning and land‑use matters, identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Coordinate with outside counsel, lenders, title companies, brokers and other third‑party stakeholders.
• Advise leadership on corporate, transactional and commercial real‑estate matters.
• Support lease negotiations, amendments, renewals and landlord‑tenant issues.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local real‑estate laws and regulations.
• Assist with entity formation, corporate governance and general contract management.
• Monitor changes in real‑estate law and provide practical recommendations.
• Help manage dispute resolution and litigation alongside outside counsel when needed.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial real‑estate legal experience.
• Proven track record handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing and due‑diligence.
• Experience with retail, office or multifamily assets preferred.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage concurrent transactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
