Remote SEO Specialist – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented SEO Specialist to execute on‑page, off‑page and technical SEO tasks for a Canadian digital‑marketing agency serving cannabis dispensaries. The role focuses on implementation and quality assurance across multiple client websites, working closely with the SEO Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SEO implementation and quality assurance for client sites.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, resolve issues, and monitor health metrics.
• Oversee content publishing processes, including pre‑launch reviews.
• Manage local SEO initiatives and Google Business Profile updates.
• Track backlinks, ensure compliance with SEO standards, and deliver timely reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in local, on‑page and technical SEO.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• Proactive communicator who identifies issues early and provides updates without prompting.
• Self‑starter capable of handling multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
