Research Analyst

About the role

The Research Analyst will work within NIQ’s Brand & Media team to uncover insights from data and create engaging deliverables that answer client business questions. This role requires a passion for data, strong attention to detail, and active contribution to team success.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad‑hoc surveys tracking key metrics, marketing effectiveness and brand health.
• Prepare reports and presentations that communicate study findings in an engaging manner.
• Analyze data using Data Tables and SPSS to identify deeper insights, trends and growth opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service to deepen existing client relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve survey efficiency and reporting.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in market research, advertising or marketing, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong initiative for continuous growth and willingness to learn.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
• Fluent English (spoken, reading, writing).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and chart creation.
• Experience with SPSS or equivalent statistical software.
• Working knowledge of AI tools, especially Microsoft Copilot.
