Risk & Compliance Specialist – Third Party Due Diligence

About the role

The Risk & Compliance Specialist will support Johnson & Johnson's global risk management program from our Bogotá office. The role focuses on third‑party due diligence, sanctions screening and anti‑money‑laundering (AML) checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sanctions screening and risk assessments for new and existing third parties during registration.
• Conduct AML and anti‑bribery due‑diligence investigations and maintain related documentation.
• Review daily alerts generated by the sanctions screening tool and resolve issues promptly.
• Execute supplier master‑data cleansing and validation activities to guarantee data accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and improve communication, training, and policy documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency enhancements.
• Maintain records in accordance with regulatory retention schedules.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in compliance, risk management or third‑party due diligence, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with regional leads.
