SDET (Junior/Mid) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ engineers, is hiring a Junior/Mid SDET. The SDET designs and implements automated testing solutions to ensure high software quality throughout the development lifecycle and acts as a technical link between development and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain reusable test automation frameworks using modern web tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Design and run comprehensive UI and API automated test suites to find defects early in production.
• Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines so engineering teams get immediate feedback.
• Work with developers during code reviews to promote testability and robust design patterns.
• Manage test data and environments for consistent, reproducible results across platforms.
• Analyze test execution reports to improve coverage and system performance.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation.
• Proven UI automation expertise with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Programming in TypeScript, JavaScript or Java for writing automated tests.
• API testing with Postman or REST Assured.
• CI/CD integration and maintenance of automated QA processes in dev pipelines.
