Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist - Import

About the role

As a Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist you will be the primary point of contact for import customers, combining logistics expertise with a strong customer‑oriented approach. You will ensure smooth operations, provide accurate shipment information and help build lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support a portfolio of customers, delivering high service levels and satisfaction.
• Provide timely and accurate information on import operations and shipment status.
• Monitor shipment exceptions, identify improvement opportunities and follow up on risks.
• Collaborate with Operational Care, Commercial and other internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Support customers in using Kuehne+Nagel digital tools and encourage automation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer and operational data in relevant systems.
• Contribute to customer retention, reactivation and account profitability.

Required profile

• Professional degree or relevant background in International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in international logistics, imports, freight forwarding or customer service.
• Experience in import operations and customer relationship management.
• Strong communication, organization and follow‑up skills.
• Leadership mindset with autonomy, proactivity and ownership.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Intermediate‑advanced English with conversational confidence.
• Customer‑oriented mindset and strong stakeholder management.
