Senior Accountant / Contador Senior

About the role

The company, a fast‑growing B2B SaaS provider for public transit and mobility, is looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen its finance function. The role is fully remote for candidates based in Colombia and focuses on full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, and revenue recognition for subscription‑based services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support full‑cycle financial statements and month‑end/ year‑end close processes.
• Produce accurate monthly financial reports, variance analysis and departmental budget comparisons.
• Maintain and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, accruals, prepaids and intercompany activity.
• Handle revenue recognition, deferred revenue and unbilled accounts receivable for SaaS subscription and usage‑based billing models.
• Review profit & loss accounts for proper coding, allocations and classification.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve billing, revenue and reporting discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in U.S. accounting processes, financial reporting and month‑end close.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Experience in SaaS, technology or subscription‑based businesses is highly preferred.
• Colombia‑based candidate with fluent English for communication.
