Senior Accountant – Hospitality Industry

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to support its rapidly growing portfolio of hospitality clients. The role is client‑facing and fast‑paced, requiring ownership of month‑end and year‑end closes, balance‑sheet optimization, and multi‑property financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end and year‑end close processes, delivering accurate P&L and balance‑sheet statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Streamline balance‑sheet reconciliations as new properties and clients are onboarded.
• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple hospitality properties.
• Integrate and operate hospitality and accounting platforms to process daily financial data.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance internal controls and client service.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, full‑cycle accounting, and financial reporting.
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
