Senior Accountant

About the role

Geodis is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its global finance team. The role focuses on accurate month‑end reporting, multi‑currency reconciliations and supporting audit processes in a fast‑paced logistics environment. You will work closely with finance colleagues worldwide and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and detailed general‑ledger analysis.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and ensure accurate multi‑currency reconciliations.
• Support financial statement audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Maintain intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in tax and accounting functions.
• Strong command of English for global communication.
• Proven analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and meet commitments.
