Senior Accountant – Multi-Entity & AI-Driven Finance

About the role

We are a growth financing marketplace helping small business owners access capital and financial management services. We seek an experienced Senior Accountant to manage comprehensive accounting operations for multiple client entities, leveraging AI and automation tools in a fast‑paced, remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books for multiple clients, including daily reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Manage full AP/AR cycles and ensure organized financial record‑keeping.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly financial statements.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting discrepancies, ensuring data integrity.
• Handle multi‑entity accounting cases, propose adjustments, and optimize workflows with AI tools.
• Adapt quickly to new technology platforms, integrations, and AI‑driven accounting solutions.
• Collaborate with Tax and CX teams to ensure seamless client experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience, including IFRS reporting and multi‑entity structures.
• Tech‑savvy with strong aptitude for learning new software, AI tools, and automation platforms.
• Client‑facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, accountable, and deadline‑driven.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with accounting software APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools for financial reporting.
• Use of AI‑driven accounting and automation tools.
