Senior Accounting & Finance Officer

About the role

WRS Health is looking for a Senior Accounting & Finance Officer to support the Director of Finance in managing global accounting, payroll, and revenue operations. The role combines hands‑on accounting work with strategic analysis to ensure accurate reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including general ledger management, reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, internal controls and GAAP‑compliant reporting.
• Oversee global payroll operations, managing platforms such as Bitwage, Wise, Deel and Payoneer and ensuring compliance with local tax and labor regulations.
• Manage end‑to‑end client invoicing, revenue tracking, collections and revenue recognition, aligning billing processes with sales and operations data.
• Monitor cash flow related to payroll, vendor payments and receivables, and provide financial analysis to support executive decision‑making.
• Identify and implement system and process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability and accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including global payroll and revenue operations.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work cross‑functionally.
