Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis – Services (SERV)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst for Financial Planning & Analysis within its Services (SERV) team, focused on the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. Based in Bogota, the analyst will support the financial close, budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful commentary and decision support to business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze variances against budget, forecasts, prior‑year actuals and key business drivers, delivering clear, business‑focused commentary.
• Support the annual planning and budgeting cycle, ensuring accurate data upload into Hyperion.
• Manage the financial close process for the LAC region, consolidating results and preparing management reports.
• Compile and analyse financial metrics, identify trends, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain standard and ad‑hoc reporting, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for finance and business teams.
• Provide decision‑support analysis to help business units improve financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably within a large, multinational organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively across finance and business functions.
• Experience supporting financial close, budgeting and forecasting processes.
