Senior Analyst, Global Finance Master Data

About the role

DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Senior Analyst, Global Master Data Finance Service Delivery, based in Bogotá, Colombia. The role is a seasoned individual contributor who delivers and strengthens Global Finance Master Data processes supporting financial operations, working independently with minimal supervision. It also supports complex issue resolution, continuous improvement, audit readiness and mentoring of less experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end Global Finance Master Data activities, including maintenance of GL accounts, profit centers, cost centers, internal orders and exchange rates, according to global standards.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and quality of finance master data and related financial processes.
• Resolve complex issues, identify root causes and risks, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform reviews and controls to find errors, data-quality issues and process gaps.
• Contribute to projects and process improvements that strengthen service delivery and controls.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and help strengthen policies and operating standards.
• Monitor system access, support internal and external audits, and deliver accurate month-end activities.
• Coach junior colleagues on finance master data processes and controls.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Generally 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting, finance master data, accounting or a closely related finance function.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, processes and controls.
• Ability to work independently, with strong quantitative and analytical skills and clear written and spoken English.
• Preferred: finance master data experience, shared services or multinational experience, audit support, process improvement experience, coaching experience, knowledge of Account-to-Report processes, and experience with financial systems and access controls.
