Senior Angular / JS Engineer

About the role

Newfire Global Partners is seeking a Senior Front‑end Engineer to help build a next‑generation clinical technology platform that will serve as the foundation for clinical data and operations. The role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, high‑performance solutions that improve care management and data‑driven decision‑making for healthcare professionals. You will work within an Agile team to deliver innovative, user‑centric applications that drive meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team on new ideas, best practices, and strategies for front‑end and back‑end development.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code using Angular.
• Implement innovative applications and integrate them with RESTful Web APIs.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation, including unit, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies such as sprints, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and planning.
• Contribute to hiring processes by serving on interview panels.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and developing front‑end web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Angular 2+ and modern JavaScript/TypeScript features.
• Experience building responsive UI with CSS and SASS.
• Proficiency in creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, Agile methodologies, and Git version control.
