Senior Audit Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Audit Associate to join MicroSourcing’s audit division in Bogota. You will lead audit engagements, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS and PCAOB/GAAS standards, and deliver high‑quality audit reports for our international client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS and PCAOB/GAAS standards.
• Perform risk assessments, substantive testing and complex analytical procedures.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and final audit reports.
• Supervise, mentor and review the work of junior audit staff.
• Communicate audit findings and resolve issues with clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of audit experience, preferably in a U.S. public accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification highly preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple engagements.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, GAAS and PCAOB standards.
• Proficiency with audit software such as CCH and CaseWare.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
