Senior Business Consultant – PIM / MDM / Akeneo

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Consultant to lead Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, work closely with Akeneo, and align business objectives with solution capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirements workshops.
• Gather, document, and manage business, functional, and process requirements.
• Drive PIM and MDM initiatives, defining product taxonomies, classification structures, hierarchies, and attribute models.
• Support Akeneo PIM implementations and enhancements through business analysis and functional design.
• Define and improve product data governance, stewardship, and data quality processes.
• Facilitate collaboration among business users, data teams, architects, developers, and implementation partners.
• Analyze existing business processes, identify optimization and automation opportunities, and develop business cases, process maps, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Support data migration, enrichment, validation, and product data management initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Consulting, or Project Delivery.
• Hands‑on experience with PIM, MDM, or product data management programs.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and manage senior business stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of product catalogs, product lifecycle management, and product data processes.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience with process analysis, process mapping, and business process improvement.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
