Senior Data Developer

About the role

CI&T is looking for a Senior Data Developer to join the Digital Supply Chain Analytics team in Colombia. You will work on data pipelines, AI agents, SaaS applications and machine‑learning models that support manufacturing, logistics and procurement decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extend and maintain existing code repositories, following Git best practices and code‑review processes.
• Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate sources such as Google BigQuery and SAP, and develop ETL/ELT processes.
• Design and support database structures for operational and analytical workloads.
• Develop front‑end interfaces and back‑end features for internal SaaS applications, including forecasting and inventory management.
• Create and manage scheduled jobs (cron) to automate recurring data and application tasks.
• Assist in preparing data and features for machine‑learning models, including computer‑vision and time‑series forecasting use cases.

Required profile

• Proven experience contributing to and extending existing codebases in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a distributed, cross‑functional team.
• Depth in at least one area such as database/SQL development, front‑end/application development, ETL pipelines, or machine learning, with familiarity in the others.
