Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

Solvd Inc. is an AI‑native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a highly skilled and consultative Senior Data Engineer with Databricks expertise to join our growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guide customers through end‑to‑end big data projects, from architecture and design to data engineering and model deployment.
• Lead client migrations and architect solutions from concept to production on the Databricks platform.
• Mentor team members and support pre‑sales technical activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering distributed Databricks‑based solutions, including Lakehouse architectures, ETL pipelines, streaming and batch processing.
• Hands‑on expertise in Python programming and advanced SQL/Spark (or PySpark) data ingestion from APIs, relational databases and other sources.
• Experience with dbt within the Databricks ecosystem and solid understanding of data governance, security and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent work experience; Databricks certification highly desirable.
