Senior Data Engineer L2 or Manager (GCP + Snowflake)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands‑on experience designing, building, and maintaining modern data platforms on Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on data migration, integration, and enabling data products while ensuring scalability, governance, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks using Snowflake and GCP services.
• Lead data migration initiatives between enterprise platforms, including Snowflake environments.
• Build, optimize, and maintain dimensional data models for analytics and reporting.
• Develop metadata‑driven solutions to make data assets discoverable and reusable.
• Create and maintain YAML‑based configurations, metadata definitions, and deployment artifacts.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation for data products, pipelines, and platform capabilities.
• Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code principles.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related data platform roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake in production.
• Experience building solutions on GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, etc.).
• Proven track record delivering data migration or modernization projects.
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
• Experience with metadata management and data cataloging tools.
