Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure Cloud

About the role

MPS is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure for a large U.S. retail platform. This hands‑on role partners with engineering, architecture, and senior stakeholders to ensure reliable production deployments and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise‑grade Azure infrastructure using Terraform and IaC.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and related services such as Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage.
• Implement secure networking and access controls with DNS, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, Private Link, NSGs and Azure Key Vault.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, automate deployments across environments, and support production release processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and platform issues, driving rapid resolution and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 7+ years in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise settings.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and communicate technical risks to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

• Microsoft Azure (AKS, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Functions, Cosmos DB, Networking).
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Cloud networking, security architecture, identity and access management.
