Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Fundraise Up is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own a core platform area—either observability or CI/CD—and ensure the platform remains reliable during high‑traffic donation events. You will be the technical reference and senior escalation point for your domain.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design, reliability and roadmap for observability (VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Graylog/VictoriaLogs, fluent‑bit, exporters, alerting) or CI/CD (Jenkins scripted pipelines, Harbor, Nexus, build agents).
• Drive technical initiatives from requirements gathering, design documentation, implementation, production rollout to ongoing operational health.
• Support developers by deploying and monitoring applications on on‑premise servers and Kubernetes (Helm), troubleshooting builds, and providing metrics, alerts and logs.
• Automate repetitive operations, provisioning and maintenance; investigate production incidents as senior escalation point and lead post‑mortems.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, mentor less experienced engineers, and use AI tools for research, troubleshooting and development.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE with a proven track record of owning technical initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Fluent Russian language skills for collaboration with a Russian‑speaking team.
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) expertise and hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization and automation.
• Production/on‑call experience diagnosing incidents, restoring service and leading post‑mortems.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive reliability in high‑stakes environments.
