Senior End‑Point Engineer

About the role

The Senior End‑Point Engineer joins the End‑User Computing team of a managed‑services engagement, supporting over 11,000 endpoints across North and South America. Reporting to the End‑Point Lead/Architect, the role drives day‑to‑day engineering of SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune, and leads the migration to cloud‑first management.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SCCM/MECM collections, OS deployment task sequences, and distribution point health.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Intune device profiles, compliance policies, app deployments and Windows Autopilot provisioning.
• Package, test and deploy applications, and execute endpoint patch‑management cycles.
• Lead migration waves from SCCM to Intune, following the roadmap set by the End‑Point Lead/Architect.
• Act as escalation point for complex endpoint incidents, providing root‑cause analysis and resolution.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to streamline endpoint management tasks.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain accurate documentation of configurations and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on endpoint engineering in enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows client OS, drivers and applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Required skills

• SCCM/MECM administration (collections, OSD, packaging, patching).
• Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot management.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Entra ID (Azure AD) concepts for endpoint management.
• ITSM/ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow.
