Senior Full Stack Engineer - Onsite in Medellin

About the role

Roca Alliances, a tech-sector recruitment firm, is looking for experienced, agile and fast-learning Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to work onsite in Medellin. You will join a globally distributed, high-performing team designing, developing and maintaining cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure with C#, Angular and .NET MAUI. The role suits engineers with strong computer science fundamentals, a passion for design patterns and comfort using AI in their daily engineering workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure, high-performance applications with C#/.NET Core, Azure Functions and Azure services (Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, API Management)
• Apply design patterns, clean architecture and solid computer science fundamentals to build scalable, maintainable solutions
• Leverage AI tools for code generation, refactoring, testing and debugging
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA and DevOps in an Agile environment (two-week sprints)
• Take part in code reviews, share knowledge with peers and mentor junior engineers
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• More than 5 years of proven experience in enterprise software engineering (C#, Angular)
• End-to-end development across UI, application and database tiers
• Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures and concurrency
• REST API design, OAuth2/JWT security and cloud-native architecture
• Ability to learn new languages and frameworks quickly; strong written and spoken English
• Preferred: background in grocery, food retail or similar industries
