Senior Fullstack Architect (AI) – Remote (Colombia or Costa Rica)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Architect to lead the technical design of AdVise, a campaign‑management platform that operates around 1,600 Google Ads and Meta accounts for automotive dealerships. The role is remote‑only for candidates based in Colombia or Costa Rica and combines hands‑on engineering with architectural governance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single design authority, documenting decisions in architecture decision records and a shared decision log.
• Define the provider‑neutral desired‑state model, governed write‑path contract, and precedence rules across Salesforce, live platform state, playbooks, locks and compliance rules.
• Design the rules engine, operating envelope, security and identity model, and integration architecture for Google Ads, Meta, Salesforce, Snowflake and client data sources.
• Select operational store, queueing, orchestration, and build‑vs‑buy decisions on AWS with long‑term maintainability in mind.
• Translate scale, latency, recovery and alert expectations into measurable non‑functional targets and validate them through performance testing.
• Own the AI Harness architecture, including guardrails, human‑review gates, spend controls and future AI agent identity design.
• Lead technical spikes, design reviews, code reviews and ensure architecture sign‑off before build starts.
• Collaborate with product leaders, paid‑media strategists, client engineering and data teams to turn complex requirements into maintainable designs.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as a solutions or software architect on production platforms that integrate with external systems at scale.
• Proven ability to design transactional, auditable write paths with idempotency, partial‑failure handling and concurrency control.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous, event‑driven architectures, queues, workflow orchestration and rate‑limited third‑party API integration.
• Experience delivering fixed‑price, milestone‑based engagements and producing clear technical documentation for handover.

Required skills

• AWS cloud architecture (or comparable major cloud platform)
• Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability and production support
• Vue.js, PHP, Laravel (sufficient to review designs and code)
• SQL, relational data modelling, data contracts
• Salesforce, Snowflake, Datadog, Looker integration experience
• Google Ads API, Meta Marketing API knowledge
• Security architecture: authentication, authorization, role‑based access, service identities, secret management, audit trails
• AI platform design, guardrails, human‑review gates and tool‑calling concepts
