Senior Group People Director – Major Projects & Programs

About the role

Lead the People and organisation agenda for Worley’s Major Projects & Programs group, advising senior leaders on workforce, talent and organisational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Group Executive President and leadership team to translate portfolio priorities into integrated People plans.
• Lead strategic workforce planning, anticipating capacity constraints, scarce‑skill requirements and critical capability gaps.
• Develop and execute strategies to secure, mobilise, deploy and retain global project talent.
• Shape leadership and talent strategies, including succession planning and leadership development.
• Coach senior leaders to improve leadership effectiveness and project execution capability.
• Lead organisation design, operating‑model and transformation initiatives across project lifecycles.
• Oversee complex workforce and employee‑relations matters, ensuring governance and compliance.
• Mobilise People Business Partners, People Operations and regional teams around MPP priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, organisational development, psychology or equivalent experience.
• Extensive People leadership experience in large project‑based, consulting, engineering, construction or energy organisations.
• Deep expertise in strategic workforce planning, global mobilisation, organisation design, succession and talent management.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in project delivery models and workforce risk management.
• Proven executive advisory and influencing capability in complex, matrixed environments.
