Senior HR Manager – Colombia

About the role

The Senior HR Manager will act as the country HR leader for Colombia, partnering closely with the Country Manager and local leadership team. This strategic role drives the people agenda, aligns HR initiatives with business priorities, and ensures an engaging employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the local HR strategy in line with regional and global objectives.
• Partner with business leaders on organizational effectiveness, performance management, succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
• Oversee employee relations, payroll, benefits, and ensure compliance with Colombian labor legislation.
• Collaborate with Centers of Expertise (Talent Acquisition, Development, Compensation & Benefits) to implement talent, learning, rewards, and workforce planning locally.
• Lead change‑management and culture initiatives.
• Coordinate performance cycles, talent planning, onboarding, and annual HR processes with regional and global teams.
• Manage and develop the local HR team, fostering a high‑performance, customer‑focused function.
• Monitor workforce metrics and analytics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee facilities operations and budget, ensuring cost‑effective resource allocation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership and generalist experience, preferably in multinational, matrixed environments.
• Fluency in Spanish and advanced English.
• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
• Strong background in HR Business Partnering, organizational effectiveness, talent management, and HR operations.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across local, regional, and global stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
• Strategic mindset with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading change and driving organizational transformation.
• Solid knowledge of Colombian labor regulations and payroll management.
