Senior Instructional Designer

About the role

Join an international engineering organization to design high‑impact learning experiences that strengthen teams and improve safety. As a Senior Instructional Designer you will create Articulate Storyline courses, blended training, and performance‑focused solutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop instructor‑led, virtual instructor‑led, and eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Create storyboards, prototypes, learning objectives, assessments, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and other instructional assets.
• Develop blended learning solutions that combine ILT, vILT, self‑paced modules, infographics, simulations, and reinforcement activities.
• Publish courses to LMS platforms ensuring compliance with SCORM/xAPI standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Collaborate with SMEs and Talent Development teams to translate technical content into learner‑centered experiences.
• Manage multiple design projects, conduct quality assurance reviews, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional instructional design experience, preferably in corporate L&D.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong project management, communication, and independent work skills in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise (Articulate 360 suite).
• Experience with LMS/LXP platforms, SCORM and xAPI standards.
• Proficiency in Zoom, Camtasia, video editing tools, and other multimedia authoring software.
• Strong visual design ability to create engaging, learner‑centered experiences.
