Senior Payroll Analyst

About the role

NielsenIQ is looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst in Bogota to work in a collaborative team within a healthy and inclusive environment. The role covers the end-to-end payroll process, from calculation and validation of employee payments to reporting and third-party payments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Calculate payroll and validate correct payment to employees
• Handle social security and tax processes (withholding)
• Prepare, analyse and present payroll reports
• Manage relationships with payroll providers and document information needed for audits and reviews
• Provide timely and effective service to internal clients (employees and stakeholders)
• Identify improvement opportunities in payroll processes and prepare data for accounting closings
• Manage third-party payments such as funds, advances, garnishments and voluntary contributions
• Ensure correct execution of electronic payroll and manage payroll changes through internal platforms (Workday and Workday Help)

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
• Demonstrable experience as a payroll consultant, payroll coordinator or in a similar position, at least 3 years
• Knowledge of labour and tax regulations for payroll employees in the country
• Fluent English is essential
• Good communication, teamwork, analytical and organisational skills, attention to detail, numerical aptitude and results orientation
• Practical experience with payroll software is optional
