Senior Project Manager - Advanced Solutions

About the role

Honeywell Technologies is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a team of development program professionals supporting dev programs within one of its businesses. The role manages Advanced Solutions projects in the Americas with full responsibility and accountability, working under moderate supervision of the program manager on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Advanced Solutions projects in the Americas, planning, delegating and managing tasks, issues, priorities and interdependencies
• Lead heterogeneous teams of business and IT, client and consulting personnel, resolving conflicts and defining project roles and responsibilities
• Lead project planning activities, including creation, approval and change control of the project plan
• Support forecasting and capacity analysis, and fulfill monthly internal reporting and cost forecasting
• Track project progress against commitments and project finances proactively
• Present program details, requirements, actions and status to business leaders
• Apply PM principles and processes, with emphasis on IPDS phase II-V, requirements management, planning, estimation, scheduling, SOW-to-WBS-to-BOE-to-integrated master schedule, earned value management, risk management and cross-functional communication; may act as the program's risk process manager

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related diploma
• 8+ years of experience managing technology-related projects; IS implementation or development experience desirable
• Balance of business experience, people management skills and strong technology knowledge
• Available to travel up to 50% of the time
• Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
• Ability to manage client relationships at all levels and develop proposals, budgets and plans

Required skills

• Project management practices and methodologies, PMI and Agile
• IPDS phase II-V, earned value management, risk management
• PMP or Scrum certification valued
• Familiarity with solutions for the manufacturing and process industries
