About the role
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale network control projects across the Americas. Based in Bogota, you will drive delivery of mission‑critical solutions that enable smarter, greener grids.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure a positive experience.
- Oversee financial performance, resource planning and risk mitigation.
- Prepare clear, actionable reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of project management experience, including large‑scale commercial projects.
- Proven ability to lead diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; willingness to travel up to 10%.
Required skills
- Power systems knowledge.
- Market management systems experience.
- Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent).
