Senior Python Developer

About the role

Endava’s Development discipline designs, builds and releases software products for leading brands. As a Senior Python Developer you will create and maintain high‑complexity web applications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver intelligent digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, estimate and implement technical solutions for medium to high‑complexity web applications using Python, FastAPI and related technologies.
• Develop, maintain and ensure code quality for new and existing SaaS‑style products and public APIs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers and Data Scientists to expose data through web interfaces.
• Promote industry standards, tools and best practices across the whole stack.
• Identify and propose improvements, escalating risks or issues as needed.
• Participate in code reviews, testing (unit to end‑to‑end) and continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proven experience building web applications with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis and related ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, clean‑code principles and architectural best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and CI/CD processes.
