Senior Python Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and build scalable microservices and REST APIs. The role works closely with Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance microservices and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Write clean, well‑tested code, conduct peer reviews, and apply modern Python practices like type hinting and async processing.
• Containerize applications with Docker and create automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Design database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and work with ORMs (SQLAlchemy) across relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, ensure low latency, high availability, and strong security standards.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps, and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional backend development experience with Python.
• Deep understanding of Python core concepts, OOP, functional programming, memory management, async/concurrency, and data structures.
• Proven experience building production‑grade REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Commitment to writing unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests using Pytest.
• Advanced Git skills and collaborative workflow experience.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
