About the role
AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, is looking for a Senior Sales Manager for the Andean region. Based in Colombia and working remotely, you will drive revenue growth, expand market presence and lead a team of Account Managers focused on strategic customers, growth accounts and new logo acquisition.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve software license revenue and pipeline targets.
- Set performance expectations, priorities and accountability through regular engagement.
- Guide creation and execution of territory and account plans aligned with market priorities.
- Provide executive sponsorship, deal strategy and negotiation support on key opportunities.
- Build and maintain senior executive relationships within target accounts.
- Ensure high‑standard customer engagement, handling escalations and complex sales challenges.
- Collaborate with marketing, partners and business development to execute regional campaigns and events.
- Leverage global alliances such as Microsoft, SAP, IBM and Accenture to accelerate sales outcomes.
- Participate in the regional market leadership team and work closely with Sales, Channel, Pre‑Sales, Customer Success and Operations.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading sales teams in software or technology environments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Strong capability to develop territory and account strategies.
- Excellent executive‑level relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Collaborative mindset to work across functions and with global partners.
Required skills
- Salesforce (SFDC) CRM usage.
- Configure‑Price‑Quote (CPQ) tools.
