Senior Security Automation Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ engineers, is hiring a Senior Security Automation Engineer. The role drives the integration of security controls and threat modeling into the engineering ecosystem, automates security workflows and embeds scalable defenses and monitoring throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated security testing and monitoring workflows to streamline threat detection and response.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture assessments to identify and mitigate infrastructure risks.
• Oversee vulnerability management and work with engineering teams to secure the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Implement and optimize platform security measures, including identity management and encryption standards.
• Develop automated systems to detect, triage and respond to security incidents and compliance anomalies in real time.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Security Automation or a related field.
• Proven expertise in threat modeling, vulnerability management and secure SDLC.
• Solid understanding of cloud and container security, IAM and encryption.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
