Senior Security Engineer – AWS Cloud

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Security Engineer specialized in AWS Cloud to join its client‑facing team. You will work independently, collaborate with senior leadership, and drive the improvement of cloud security standards across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and investigate cloud security findings from CrowdStrike SOC and triage them.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Maintain and update cloud security processes, integrations, playbooks, custom alerts and documentation.
• Provide evidence and documentation for annual audits.
• Track and report weekly and monthly security statistics to leadership.
• Triage application and Kubernetes security vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud security or related roles.
• Proven ability to work directly with clients and senior leadership without supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).

Required skills

• AWS security services (IAM, VPC, Security Groups, EC2, Lambda, ECR, ECS, S3, CloudTrail, ACM, DynamoDB, Redshift, KMS).
• CI/CD security scanning pipelines.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform and GitHub.
• Kubernetes architecture, security and deployment (Terraform‑based).
• CrowdStrike, Security Operation Center, Snyk.
• Codefresh, Argo CD, PerimeterX.
• SUMO Logic, Okta.
• Python scripting.
