Senior Specialist – Project Management

About the role

Nasdaq is seeking a Senior Specialist in Project Management to lead complex, high‑impact technology initiatives across the globe. Reporting to the Director Delivery Manager, you will shape delivery processes and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT projects, from initiation through completion.
• Manage project plans, budgets, risks, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to align deliverables with business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with global stakeholders to drive project alignment and success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex IT projects in a matrixed, global environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (preferred).
