Senior Specialist & Project Manager – PESC

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist who will also serve as Project Manager for the Permanent Entity Steering Committee (PESC). The role is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering projects that support the governance, compliance and strategic alignment of Mastercard’s permanent entities worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategic priorities and approve new initiatives for permanent entities.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and milestones for PESC initiatives.
• Coordinate resources, manage dependencies and act as the primary liaison between the PESC committee, functional leads and external partners.
• Facilitate regular meetings, provide status updates and ensure transparent communication.
• Maintain compliance with governance frameworks, monitor performance metrics and risk indicators.
• Provide guidance on operational improvements, resource planning and budgeting.
• Serve as an escalation point for critical issues impacting permanent entities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management within a large, global organization.
• Strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion.
