Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & AWS

About the role

We are seeking a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operationalize a new Kubernetes‑based cloud environment on AWS for a short‑term project. The role requires strong expertise in Argo CD, service mesh, and modern cloud automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of a VistaCenter cloud environment on AWS, ensuring security, reliability, and best‑practice operations.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams throughout implementation.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads on Kubernetes (EKS) including networking, ingress, storage, and cluster upgrades.
• Design and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps patterns with Argo CD.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, creating modular and reusable patterns.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards; produce runbooks and knowledge‑transfer documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform or Cloud Engineering.
• 4+ years supporting production Kubernetes (EKS, Helm) and AWS services.
• Proven ability to lead technical implementations with minimal supervision.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.

Required skills

• Argo CD and service mesh technologies.
• Kubernetes, EKS, Helm.
• AWS services (VPC, EC2, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, RDS, CloudWatch, S3, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store).
• GitLab CI/CD, GitOps workflows.
• Terraform.
• Scripting in Bash, Python or Go.
