SEO & AI Optimization Specialist (GEO/AIO)

About the role

We are seeking a forward‑thinking SEO & AI Optimization Specialist to join our on‑site team in Medellín. You will bridge technical web engineering, workflow automation, and next‑generation search strategies to boost our brand’s visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

Key responsibilities

• Architect Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to maximize brand citations inside major LLM platforms.
• Optimize front‑end and back‑end architecture, including JSON‑LD schema, dynamic rendering, and Core Web Vitals.
• Develop automated scripts (Python/Node.js) and API integrations for audits, keyword research, and custom reporting.
• Build semantic topic clusters and vector‑search internal linking models.
• Track classic organic metrics (GA4, GSC, Semrush) alongside AI Share of Voice and brand citation rates.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience executing technical SEO campaigns.
• Strong front‑end and back‑end technical depth with a focus on performance and schema markup.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SSR/Dynamic Rendering, Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Python or Node.js scripting, REST API integration (GA4, GSC, Semrush/Ahrefs), web scraping, SQL.
• Advanced JSON‑LD schema, entity mapping, crawl‑budget optimization.
• SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Looker Studio.
