Social Compliance Consultant

About the role

The Social Compliance Consultant will join RINA’s Sustainability and Business Innovation Division in Bogota. The role focuses on assessing social impacts of projects, developing management plans, and working with stakeholders to ensure compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct social impact assessments, including human‑rights and supply‑chain assessments, to evaluate project effects on communities and stakeholders.
• Facilitate inclusive stakeholder‑engagement processes to gather insights, address concerns, and promote transparency.
• Design and implement social management plans that encourage inclusion, community participation, and sustainable development.
• Collaborate with local communities, authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to identify and apply mitigation measures.
• Ensure all consultancy services comply with relevant international standards and best practices.
• Support proposal preparation by contributing expertise on social and environmental standards.
• Travel to project sites for on‑site assessments, documentation review, and monitoring of social, health, safety, and environmental aspects.
• Assist project managers with budgeting, scheduling, and integration of social considerations into project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience conducting social impact assessments and stakeholder‑engagement processes.
• Familiarity with international social sustainability standards and best practices.
• Experience with environmental assessment methodologies and compliance requirements.
