Software Engineer (Django) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote engineers, is hiring a Software Engineer specializing in Django. You will build robust web applications and APIs using Django, creating scalable and efficient back-end solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Implement efficient data models and complex queries using the Django ORM.
• Manage and customize the Django admin interface for internal data management tools.
• Follow Django best practices and architectural patterns to ensure security and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
• Optimize performance through profiling, caching strategies and efficient code.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on Python and Django.
• Proven experience building web applications and APIs with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Deep understanding of Django ORM, admin components and the Django ecosystem.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable backend services and RESTful architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
