Software Engineer - Technical Lead, Node.js & AI Automation

About the role

Dapta is an early-stage, VC-backed company building AI automation for sales that turns user intent into revenue by automating voice, text and workflows. It is growing fast and needs a technical lead who will shape the product's core architecture and serve thousands of users globally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team through architecture, development and deployment.
• Design systems that scale to thousands of concurrent users and millions of requests per minute.
• Stay hands-on with Node.js, writing and reviewing code.
• Work side-by-side with product and design teams to build fast, intuitive, AI-driven user experiences.
• Build proof-of-concepts and experiments, iterating on customer feedback.
• Keep up with AI trends, tools and techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 2+ years of Node.js experience scaling production-grade applications.
• 2+ years in software engineering, ideally in SaaS or AI-driven products.
• Proactive, curious mindset and great communication skills.

Required skills

• Node.js, JavaScript, Python, MongoDB, SQL, AWS, microservices and distributed systems.
• AI APIs and AI tools such as ChatGPT, LangChain.
