Sourcing Lead - Indirect Spend

About the role

A personal care product manufacturer in Bogota is looking for an experienced Sourcing Team Lead to oversee end-to-end sourcing and contract management across several indirect spend categories. The role leads a team of sourcing professionals, drives cost optimization, negotiates complex agreements and partners with business stakeholders to deliver measurable value. It is a hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of sourcing professionals; prioritize initiatives and deliver savings targets, service levels and performance objectives.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and drive change management, stakeholder engagement and compliance improvement.
• Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, from opportunity identification to supplier selection, and develop category strategies based on spend analysis and market research.
• Lead sourcing events such as RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations and award recommendations, and improve supplier performance on cost, quality, service, innovation and delivery.
• Resolve supplier issues, disputes and payment concerns, monitor market trends and support supplier rationalization.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial agreements, lead contract negotiations, and manage workflows from creation through execution, approval, signature and lifecycle administration.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, finance and business stakeholders, review amendments and renewals, maintain contract records, escalate contractual risks and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and corporate requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Procurement or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contract management or strategic purchasing.
• Hands-on experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, and proven ability to lead supplier negotiations.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing diverse teams.
• Preferred: Master's degree, experience with indirect spend categories (marketing, HR, business services, IT, R&D, facilities and capital projects), work in large global or matrixed organizations, familiarity with CLM systems and knowledge of supplier governance and risk management.
