Specialist – Finance & Accounting – Accounts Payable

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Specialist in Finance & Accounting to manage the full accounts‑payable cycle in Colombia. You will ensure accurate processing of invoices, maintain vendor records, and drive continuous improvements in AP operations.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, post, and verify business transactions, processing both PO and non‑PO invoices.
• Review invoices and requisitions for payment approval and ensure compliance with AP policies.
• Prepare vouchers with detailed coding, assign voucher numbers, and manage vendor files.
• Perform vendor reconciliations, manage the vendor payment cycle, and handle GRIR reconciliations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field; Master’s in Finance is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Accounts Payable, CPA, CFA, CTP are desirable.
• Advanced Spanish proficiency (C1) required.
