Senior Associate – Finance & Accounting – Accounts Payable

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Senior Associate for its Finance & Accounting team to manage the end‑to‑end accounts payable process in Colombia. The role involves reviewing, validating, and releasing invoices for timely payment while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process invoices, validating supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice number and date.
• Release invoices for payment accurately and on schedule.
• Ensure all pay runs are completed as agreed with customers.
• Follow up on requisitions via calls, emails or tickets to resolve invoice issues according to AP guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to reduce help‑desk queries and improve processes.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies and perform daily internal audits of invoice handling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field; Master’s in Finance is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Accounts Payable, CAMS, CFA, CFE, CPA are desirable.
• Proficiency in Spanish (C2 level) required.
