Sr. Full-Stack Engineer, AI-Native (Remote LATAM / Europe)
Braintrust
Job description
About the role
Reunion Marketing builds the platforms and AI products used by its strategists and automotive dealer clients, including the Altitude Intelligence platform. It is looking for a senior full-stack engineer who uses AI coding assistants as a core part of how they build and ship production code, while still owning quality, security and design. The role is remote and covers client-facing applications, dashboards and reports, and platform and data services.
Key responsibilities
- Own full-stack features end to end, from database schemas and APIs to the front end, built with AI coding assistants and held to production standards for testing, security and multi-tenant data access.
- Build dashboards, reports and tools used daily by dealer clients and internal teams.
- Develop AI-powered features such as chat, report generation and agentic workflows based on large language models.
- Own the engineering practice around AI coding assistants: project context and instructions, custom commands and agents, review conventions and guardrails.
- Ensure quality and testing: automated tests, CI gating and code review, regardless of who wrote the code.
- Own production reliability: monitoring, incident response, performance and rollbacks, with instrumentation before conjecture.
- Make architectural judgments on build versus buy, iteration speed versus client-safe controls, and where AI tooling helps versus where it adds risk.
Required profile
- 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 1+ year building production software with AI coding assistants as a primary part of the workflow.
- Deep, hands-on experience with AI coding assistants: structuring context for large codebases, writing project instructions and custom commands, running agentic multi-step tasks, reviewing and correcting generated code, and knowing when to write it yourself.
- A feature shipped substantially with an AI coding assistant, with the ability to explain how the work was directed and reviewed.
- Production debugging instincts and a record of owning quality on a multi-team product, including incident response, rolling back a bad release and defending a delayed release to stakeholders.
- Strong written and architectural communication, able to explain technical trade-offs to strategists and executives.
Required skills
- Modern web stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js or Python, and SQL.
- Nice to have: experience with Anthropic Claude (Claude Code, the Claude API, tool use, prompt caching), production LLM features, marketing analytics domain experience, and experience building a system of record.
Hiring process: introductory call, then a technical deep dive covering a production system you built, a production failure you debugged, a release you held back, and an architectural decision. Working session follows.
