Staff Accountant – BAR

About the role

The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Supervisor and supports daily and monthly accounting activities. You will help ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP/IFRS, and smooth month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring completeness.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform bank and key account reconciliations.
• Assist with vendor onboarding, corporate card administration, bank account updates, and urgent payment execution.
• Participate in audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other special projects as assigned.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
